November 11, 2020 Update:

Operational Update
Krowne continues to be open and fully operational. We continue to strictly adhere to all CDC guidelines and have implemented additional safety measures to protect our employees. As an essential company we also continue to supply products to healthcare facilities around the world throughout the pandemic.

April 23, 2020 Update:

Operational Update
Throughout the weekend of April 17th -19th we hired a large professional cleaning crew to come in and fog/deep clean both of our facilities to keep our team as safe as possible. This crew used a special disinfectant designed to eliminate COVID-19.  We invested in this cleaning process to make sure every step was taken to protect our employees as much as possible.

April 3, 2020 Update:

Free Face Masks
We will continue to leverage our reliable supply chain to increase our incoming face masks shipments. Every face mask we purchase we will donate, and we are well on our way towards 10,000 free face masks to local healthcare facilities.

March 27, 2020 Update:

The health and well-being of our team, customers, and surrounding community during these tumultuous times is our highest priority.  We have provided an update below on key areas that we have addressed to proactively prepare for the full impact of COVID-19.

We recognize that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created a great deal of uncertainty for everyone. We would like you to know that Krowne Metal Corporation will remain open along with our manufacturing and distribution facilities. We have confirmed that the shutdown announced by New Jersey Governor Murphy on March 21st does not apply to Krowne and we will continue to strictly adhere to CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19. We have also implemented additional safety measures to mitigate the possible spread of the virus including “deep-cleaning” each department every day.  On Monday, March 16th we migrated our entire office workforce to a work-from-home capacity and this transition has been extremely successful. The following departments will continue to function remotely, and they can be contacted via phone or email.

Safety of our Team
As of Monday March 16th, 2020 we have transitioned all of our office personnel to a work-from-home capacity. All departments are now fully equipped with the software, computers, phones, etc. to complete their job functions remotely. Beforehand on March 9th, 2020, we made the decision to cancel all team members’ business travel and cancel all in-person meetings with outside organizations at Krowne until the virus is contained. Our team will be available for conference calls and video conferences moving forward.

Our manufacturing facilities will continue to operate at normal capacity and we have implemented safety precautions to reduce the risk of infection throughout that environment. As of now, our lead times on production items will remain consistent with the past 6 months and we will continue to monitor.

In-Stock Inventory
We maintain a very high level of inventory in our distribution center to allow for quick-shipping on all in-stock items. To protect against supply chain variability, we have increased our stock on all popular products to ensure that we have a surplus of stock for our customers.
